At least four New York City teens were slashed in separate after-school incidents this week so far, police said Tuesday.
Two boys, 13 and 16, were wounded on Tuesday afternoon after dismissal in Brooklyn and Queens, respectively, according to cops.
The older teenager was slashed around his stomach with an unknown sharp object at around 3:20 p.m. on 77th Road and Maine Street in Kew Gardens, police said.
He was taken to Cohen Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
Just an hour earlier in Flatbush, officers responding to a 911 call about an assault with a knife found the 13-year-old stabbed in the torso, the NYPD said.
He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, also in stable condition.
The two slashings came after a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were injured in separate incidents on Monday afternoon in Manhattan and Queens.
The girl was stabbed in the torso outside Mott Hall High School at West 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem just before 3:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
Four other 17-year-old girls were arrested in that case. Their names were not released because they are underage, and the charges against them were not immediately known.
The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The 16-year-old boy, meanwhile, was stabbed in the forearm at around 2:45 p.m. near CPL Thomas C. Noonan Jr. Playground in Woodside.
Police said the victim and a group of boys or men were fighting – and that he said he tried to walk away from the crew before he was stabbed at 43rd Street.
The boy was transported to Elmhurst General Hospital in stable condition.
Police were not sure as of Tuesday afternoon if the previous dispute was related to the stabbing.
