Welcome to the resistance, Casey Anthony!

The infamous alleged home-wrecker and murder suspect who was acquitted in the death of her 2-year-old daughter — one of the most hated women in America — is rebranding herself as a “legal advocate” for women and LGBTQ people.

And it’s all because she dislikes President Trump, a friend tells The Post.

“This is my first of probably many recordings on a series I am starting,” the so-called “tot mom” said in a TikTok video posted on Saturday.

“I am a legal advocate. I am a researcher. I have been in the legal field since 2011, and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary if I’m going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter.”

Casey Anthony says she will film in her car to protect her privacy. AP

“For those of you who don’t know, my name is Casey Anthony,” she continued. “My daughter is Caylee Anthony. My parents are George and Cindy Anthony. This is not about them. This is not in response to anything that they have said or done. The whole point of this is for me to begin to reintroduce myself.”

Anthony claimed that she decided to start this new video series after people close to her were “targeted and attacked recently.”

“As a proponent for the LGBTQ community, for our legal community, women’s rights, I feel that it’s important that I use this platform that was thrust upon me and now look at as a blessing as opposed to the curse that it has been since 2008,” Anthony said in the 3-minute video.

“She wants to fight Trump,” an insider told The Post about Anthony. AP
George and Cindy Anthony have frequently spoken out about their notorious daughter, and passed a lie detector test last year when asked if they were involved in Caylee’s death. AP

That reference of 2008 is when Anthony’s daughter went missing outside Orlando. Caylee hadn’t been seen for more than a month before her panicked grandparents called the cops. The little girl’s remains were finally found wrapped in duct tape inside a laundry bag a few months later.

While Caylee was missing, her mom Casey Anthony was spotted clubbing around the city and dancing on tables instead of looking for her daughter. Anthony was charged with first-degree murder, but acquitted in July 2011.

A friend close to the 38-year-old Anthony tells The Post that Anthony was motivated to act because of President Trump.

“She’s appalled,” the insider says. “She wants to speak up for many people who don’t have a voice. She’s got a lot of friends in the gay community, and she wants to use their influence to help. She’s got a voice and maybe she can stand up for other people.”

“She wants to fight Trump,” the insider continues. “She figures she can either be angry, or she can be a Trump hating advocate for others. She’ll use her influence to resist.”

Caylee Anthony was missing for a month before her grandmother alerted the police. AP

Anthony’s murder trial was a media circus, with an estimated 40 million Americans watching at least part of the trial. The jaw-dropping not guilty verdict was viewed by nearly 100 million people worldwide.

Anthony has continued to stay in the public eye — most recently moving in with a married father of two, causing him to blow up his marriage of 22 years, a source told The Post last fall.

But Anthony wants to change the public perception of her by offering her words, unfiltered, to the masses. But, she will not share everything about her life.

“I am proverbially standing in the light, embracing peace, still going to keep my privacy intact,” she said. “I will explain in great detail why it’s so important for people to protect their privacy. With the current climate in our country especially, it’s that much more important.”

Only, it won’t be a dialogue. Demonstrating just a little self awareness, Anthony has disabled comments on her videos.

“She isn’t going to get into flame wars with people,” said her friend. “This is her platform, her space to say her piece. You can either watch, or you can move along. This is about what she wants to say.”
