A New Jersey woman allegedly tried to orchestrate a murder-for-hire plot targeting her former cop boyfriend and his teenage daughter through a dating app, offering $12,000 to kill the pair.

Jaclyn Diiorio, 26, was arrested in Gloucester Township after she began communicating with a confidential informant to pull off the double murder, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said on Facebook Tuesday.

Diiorio, of Runnemede, NJ, is accused of offering the phony hitman $12,000 to kill both her 53-year-old ex-boyfriend, who is a cop with the Philadelphia Police Department and his 19-year-old daughter.

She met the fake hitman on the popular dating app Tinder, according to a Camden County criminal complaint/affidavit obtained by NBC Philadelphia.

After exchanging messages, authorities said Diiorio and the man met at a Wawa in Runnemede on March 31.

She exchanged several phone calls and text messages with the informant from March 31 to April 3. During their communication, she allegedly said she wanted her ex-boyfriend dead and revealed he was a police officer.

On April 3, the informant reported the murder-for-hire plot to the county prosecutor, who had detectives call the Philadelphia Police Department to make them and the target aware.

Prosecutors said Diiorio met with the informant at a Dollar General store on April 4. She then allegedly handed over $500 in cash as a down payment for the killings and said she would pay the rest in installments.

After exchanging the money, Diiorio was swarmed by officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department Special Response Team and arrested.

During the arrest, police discovered she had a bottle unlabeled bottle of pills, suspected alprazolam.

She was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder, one count of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, and one count of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

First-degree attempted murder conviction carries a sentence of 10 to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison.

Diiorio is currently being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Her detention hearing is set for April 9 at Camden County Superior Court.

NBC Philadelphia reported that Diiorio and her ex-boyfriend — who was not named by police — met when she was his barber. It’s unclear when the two started dating.

Her ex-boyfriend revealed that he and Diiorio ended the relationship on March 6.

Detectives discovered that Diiorio had filed a temporary restraining order against the cop in the summer of 2024, but it was later dropped.

The Philly cop also revealed that his “home was vandalized by a Molotov cocktail in September 2022,” according to the affidavit.

It’s unclear if that incident is related to the case against Diiorio or if police ever investigated the vandalism.
