New York’s lefty lawmakers and lenient judges refuse to stop a deranged thug from repeatedly invading an innocent woman’s home — though escalation to murder seems clearly in the offing.
That’s the inescapable conclusion to be drawn from the obscene case of Bronx career criminal Jarrell Coburn and beauty salon owner Itesha Hairston.
Coburn, a crook with a mile-long rap sheet, broke into her apartment three times over a 10-day span in March — with a follow-up attempt on April 9.
The court response: Nothing.
Coburn got sprung with no bail for the first two break-ins, and even his follow-up offenses met the same fate, evidently thanks both to soft-on-crime judges and New York’s obscene 2019 criminal justice “reforms.”
On top of being a violent thug, Coburn is clearly both insane and obsessed with Hairston.
He has pulled a gun on her, insisted that her apartment is his and run her sink until it caused a flood.
As long as Coburn walks free, this seems certain to end only one way.
Even though Hairston has moved her sister’s pit bulls into her place for protection.
And the pro-crime judges, and progs on the City Council and in Albany, and “justice” shriekers on social media will do nothing.
Along with the whole rest of the crew that wants murderers, rapists, burglars, dealers, traffickers and shoplifters in charge of the streets, while the law-abiding suffer and cower.
Neither the judges who refuse to put obviously dangerous criminals in pre-trial detention, nor the legislators who conspire to spring the crooks, face any consequence when those criminals go on to hurt or kill or burn or rape — even though they’re morally as culpable as people who throw cinderblocks off highway overpasses for kicks.
That is: These lefties by now have to know they’re ensuring innocents will die, or be raped and robbed and so on, yet they keep on encouraging crime.
Which makes it incumbent on all New Yorkers to rise up and vote these jackals out of office.
