An unhinged man shoved a straphanger onto Brooklyn subway tracks early Wednesday, police said.
The suspect was “yelling and acting erratic” on the northbound C train platform at Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville around 6 a.m. when a 52-year-old man stepped in to confront him, authorities said.
The deranged man then pushed the intervening commuter off the platform and onto the tracks, cops said.
No trains were pulling into the station at the time, and the victim was able to get back up on his own, police said.
He did not report any injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.
The shover took off and has not been caught, cops said.
