NYC's accused dine-and-dash diva ordered to undergo psych evaluation by judge

She’s a dash mad.

Accused serial dine-and-dash diva Pei Chung, 34, was ordered to undergo a psych evaluation Wednesday by a Brooklyn judge after her attorney claimed she can’t understand the charges against her.

Chung’s attorney Henry Dechalus requested the mental health evaluation — known as a “730 exam” — during a hearing over the designer dud-flaunting wannabe influencer’s aversion to forking over cash for her gourmet meals.

Dechalus contended that Chung — who wasn’t in court Wednesday after waiving her right to appear  — doesn’t understand the failure-to-pay charges leveled against her.

“At this time, I will be asking for a 730 exam,” Dechalus said.

“I spoke to my client. She doesn’t understand the proceedings. She has some difficulty communicating with counsel. She doesn’t necessarily understand the charges alleged against her.”

Judge Hemalee Patel granted the evaluation and scheduled a Dec. 17 court date for Chung, who is being held on Rikers Island.

The hearing served up the latest nugget in the saucy saga swirling around Chung, who had cops called on her at least 10 times in the past month for allegedly skipping out on restaurant tabs.

Here’s the latest on the dine-and-dash diva

Fed-up restaurant workers at culinary hotspots such as Francie, Lavender Lake, Motorino and Peter Luger have told similar tales of Chung posing as a food influencer, all while bedecked in glamorous duds.

The Louis Vuitton and Hermes that Chung — whose Instagram brags she’s “99 lb No plastic surgery” –toted to Motorino on Nov. 11 easily cost more than $10,000, the eatery’s discerning owner had estimated.

She ordered lavish meals, such as her Oct. 22 feast at Francie where she noshed on $15 foie gras, $32 carpaccio, $28 bucatini, $52 lamb, and $19 hot chocolate mousse.

But while Chung superficially flashed wealth, the eateries contend she’s actually a greasy cheapskate.

Chung served up credit cards that were declined, tried to offer social media posts for free haute meals and once — according to staff at Peter Luger — even proposed sex in lieu of payment.

The stingy faux foodie also allegedly didn’t let her many arrests stop her scamming — and mocked cops in Instagram captions.

“Police officers threw out my takeout cuisine again which I organized them in the bar like a pro,’’ she wrote after allegedly ordering $123 in food at Sea Thai in Brooklyn and refusing to pay.

The alleged non-spending spree eventually caught up to Chung over the weekend, as a judge ordered her held on $4,500 cash bail. Immigration authorities are also looking into whether Chung, who hails from Taiwan, overstayed a student visa.

She has since been holed up in Rikers Island, where the Thanksgiving menu offers a spread of roast turkey, “bread dressing,” candied yams and two pats of margarine – a far cry from the Peter Luger steak that she raved on her blog carries the “essence of oak and iron from the grill.”
