Radical Zizian vegans tied to alleged deadly Charles Manson-like cult disrupt court

Two members of the Zizians — a radical vegan cult led by a so-called modern-day Charles Manson — derailed their court hearing this week when one launched into a deranged tirade and the other sat unresponsive in a wheelchair.

Ranting Alexander Leatham, 30, and ailing anorexic Suri Dao, 23 — both of whom identify as transgender — appeared at their pre-trial proceeding in Solano County, Calif., on Monday in the case of the brutal attempted murder of 82-year-old Curtis Lind with a samurai sword after he tried to boot them off his land in 2022.

Leatham — a member of a cult tied to six murders in the US — threw a wrench into her court appearance when she began screaming at the judge.

Alexander Leatham, 30, is on trial in Solano County for attempted murder with Zizian compatriots.

“Curtis Lind murdered Emma Borhanian!” Leatham kept shouting, referring to a third alleged attacker who Lind fatally shot during the ordeal, Courthouse News reported.

Dao — who uses they/them pronouns — meanwhile had to be pushed into the courtroom in a wheelchair, and their lawyer described them as “vegetative,” according to the outlet.

The suspect had lost 32 pounds since September due to “restrictive anorexia,” said the lawyer, Brian Ford, addressing the court virtually.

The pair’s next hearing was pushed to Monday, Dec. 8.

Chaotic hearings are nothing new for Leatham and Dao. In an April proceeding, Leatham claimed she was being de-transitioned against her will with hormone therapy — as part of a “quarter century” conspiracy against trans people.

Leatham, Dao, and Borhanian had been squatting on Lind’s land in 2022 when the man finally told them to get lost, prosecutors have said.

Lind was inspecting a leak in Dao’s trailer when someone hit him in the back of his head, and he blacked out, according to authorities.

The landlord told police he woke up with around 50 stab wounds, a samurai sword stuck in his torso and the three Zizians standing over him.

Lind was still able to grab his gun and start blasting, wounding Leatham and killing Borhanian, in what prosecutors called self-defense.

Though he survived the ordeal, the old man was later murdered by another Zizian, Maximilian Snyder, to keep him from testifying against the Leatham and Dao, prosecutors alleged.

The Solano County Superior Court is working to consolidate Dao and Leatham’s cases and set a trial date — despite Leatham’s attempts to allegedly thwart the law.

Snyder faces a separate homicide charge for allegedly ambushing Lind and stabbing him to death.

Leatham also caused a ruckus at a hearing in March when she yelled, “This is a show trial to coordinate the genocide of transgender people!” over and over until the judge had her tossed into a closed-off “isolation room,” Courthouse News reported.

The Zizians’ alleged trail of violence goes beyond California.

Authorities paint the alleged founder, Jack “Ziz” LaSota — a trans, 34-year-old blogger and computer engineer from Berkeley — as a kind of present-day Charles Manson whose followers are tied to six deaths in three states.

Last year, Snyder’s fiancé, Teresa “Milo” Consuelo Youngblut, and German national Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt allegedly fatally gunned down federal agent David Maland when he stopped their car near the Canadian border in Vermont.

The suspects’ weapons were purchased by another Zizian, Michelle Zakjow, 32, a trans man who had been wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of his parents in their Pennsylvania home.

In February, police in Deleware arrested Zakjow, fellow Zizian Daniel Blank and Ziz herself — who had tried to fake her death in 2022.

They face charges of trespassing, obstructing and hindering and possession of a handgun in a vehicle.

Pennsylvania state police sources told The Post they believe they had enough evidence to arrest Zakjow for the murders of his parents, but the Delaware County DA’s office said cops still had not provided adequate evidence.
