A “monster” middle school teacher has been charged with grooming and sexually abusing a teenage student who had viewed her as a “mother figure,” according to police.

Alisha Marie George, 40, a teacher and volleyball coach at the K-9 Hawthorn Academy in West Jordan, Utah, met the boy when he was just 12 years old, earned his trust, and stole his innocence, charging documents filed Thursday alleged.

The victim, now 15, told police George was a “monster” because “at a time in his life when he needed someone the most, [she] stepped up but took advantage of him.”

He first met the teacher in 2023, when he was in the seventh grade, and recalled George helping him on the volleyball team.

The next year, when he was 13, and “struggling” at home, George emerged as a “mother figure” who was “always there for him,” according to charging documents.

But then, during Christmas break that year, the accused pervy teacher made out with him in her car after driving him home from a trip to the cinema with other teachers and students.

George only stopped the sickening behavior when the boy’s mother — and a friend of hers — walked out of the garage, the docs allege.

The abuse allegedly escalated from there and included oral sex.

Much of it occurred at the boy’s home after George offered to help out while his mother recovered from surgery in the hospital, according to the charging documents.

When his teacher allegedly told him not to tell anyone about what they were doing, he realized he was “at the point of no return,” he told police.

He also told cops he began to worry that George would get upset if she saw him speaking with other females at school.

The pair allegedly had their last sexual encounter in July 2024 in George’s car.

On his birthday later that year, she reached out to him, but he told her not to message him again and blocked her on social media, the docs state.

He told police that George was his first sexual experience.

In total, George is facing 22 charges: four counts of forcible sodomy, a first-degree felony; one count of attempted rape, a first-degree felony; 12 counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony; one count of distributing pornographic material, a third-degree felony; and four counts of unlawfully kissing a minor, a class A misdemeanor.

After her arrest, multiple other students came forward and reported they had also been groomed by George or saw her acting inappropriately.

More charges could be forthcoming, officials noted.

George is being held in the Salt Lake County Jail without bail, jail records show.

She is scheduled to make her initial court appearance on Dec. 9.
