A staffer at a Queens elementary school allegedly slammed her 6-year-old autistic student against the wall Friday — marking the third public school employee arrested for abusing kids in just two days.
Fauzia Naznin, 49, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child following the attack at PS 213, The Carl Ullman School, in Oakland Gardens, according to cops and law enforcement sources.
Naznin — who, according to records is a paraprofessional who has worked for the city Department of Education since 2014 — is accused of throwing the non-verbal child against a wall, sources said.
Her arrest comes just one day after two city teachers were arrested for allegedly assaulting their own young students.
Brian Thomas, 33, allegedly punched a 12-year-old boy inside PS 161 in Manhattanville Thursday, sending the boy to the hospital with minor injuries.
That same day, 70-year-old Mohamed Baksh was arrested for allegedly touching a 12-year-old female student’s chest at a Bronx school.
The Carl Ullman School has a history of students with disabilities being abused by their trusted teachers.
In 2020, 48-year-old Marc Scheibel was sentenced to 10 years probation and a lifetime as a registered sex offender after he was caught on video groping his 9-year-old student.
He was caught by his paraprofessional putting his hand over the autistic girl’s groin before grabbing her hand and placing it on his own pelvic area.
