A 17-year-old boy was choked by a stranger and knocked unconscious during a clash on board a Queens train, police said this week.
The teen was riding a Manhattan-bound A train that had stopped at the Far Rockaway station around 3:50 p.m. Nov. 9 when the man approached him and the two got into a heated dispute, cops said.
The suspect — believed to be between 30 and 40 years old — choked the teen, causing him to lose consciousness, authorities said.
The victim managed to get off the train, but his attacker stayed on board and hadn’t been caught by Wednesday.
The teen was hospitalized in stable condition with minor injuries, cops said.
The suspect, shown in a photo released by the NYPD Tuesday evening, is described as bald with a light complexion.
He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and orange boots.
In an unrelated incident this week, an 18-year-old woman was slashed at a Midtown subway station, cops said.
The woman was boarding a northbound A train at the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal station around 6:30 p.m. Sunday when she got involved in a fight with a man and woman, cops said.
During the feud, one of the suspects slashed her in the arm, police said.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.
The suspects, who remained at large, were last seen on the northbound platform and pictured in photos released by the NYPD late Tuesday, cops said.
The wanted woman was described by cops as having a light complexion and slim build, and standing about 5 feet 5.
She was last seen with her dark hair in a ponytail, wearing a black hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, gray sweatpants and black sneakers and carrying a gray bookbag.
Her male companion was described as having a medium complexion and a slim build, standing about 5 feet 8.
He was last seen wearing a dark ski mask, black hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark jeans and dark shoes.
The circumstances leading up to that violent clash were also unknown.
