A box cutter-wielding creep urinating on a car in the East Village slashed the neck of a passerby who asked him to stop, police said.
The 66-year-old victim was left clinging to life after confronting the sicko, who was relieving himself on a car at East 14th Street near First Avenue just after 5 p.m. Sunday, cops said.
Photos released by the NYPD early Monday show the bearded suspect wearing a red and black winter coat, gray hat, black pants and pushing a rolling duffle bag.
Cops said he used a box-cutter to slash the stranger, causing a severe cut and bleeding.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where he was listed in critical condition.
The alleged assailant ran off, and was still on the loose Monday.
