A 30-year-old Bronx driver rammed into a 66-year-old man before dragging a woman he’d been arguing with in a chaotic chain of events early Monday, cops said.
The motorist was involved in a clash with a 30-year-old woman who had been standing outside his car on East Tremont Avenue near Third Avenue around 2:20 a.m., cops said.
At some point during the feud, the driver tried to take off – and as he backed up, he struck the senior, police said.
He then drove off, briefly dragging the woman with his car, authorities said.
He then rammed into two parked unoccupied cars before trying in vain to run off on foot, cops said.
Police quickly apprehended him, and he was taken into custody with charges pending.
The injured man and woman both refused medical attention, police said.
It’s unclear whether the man and woman knew each other or what, exactly, they were arguing about.
