A Brooklyn gangbanger was sentenced to 35 years behind bars for his part in the attempted revenge murder of three members of a rival crew who stole his gold chain four years ago, federal authorities said Thursday.

No Love City gang member Jean Fremont, 32 – known on the street as “Juno” and “Bigga Twirl” – was convicted tied to the shootings two years ago on charges including conspiracy to murder rival gang members in aid of racketeering, attempted murder in aid of racketeering and assault, according to Breon Peace, the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

US District Judge William F. Kuntz delivered the sentence of more than three decades to Fremont in Brooklyn federal court Thursday.

“Fremont will spend decades in prison for attempting to murder individuals for the sole purpose of defending his gang’s reputation,” Peace said in a statement.

“Incarcerating Fremont and his co-defendants for a long period of time for their ruthless acts of violence and complete disregard for human life will serve to protect the community while sending a message of deterrence to others who foolishly seek status by choosing to join violent gangs.”

Fremont and several other members and associates of the No Love City Gang – a subset of the Flatbush-based Folk Nation Gangster Disciples – lashed out at the rival gang in late 2020 after their counterparts stole Fremont’s gold chain and pendant following the filming of a video in Brooklyn, Peace said.

The chain – imprinted with the letters “SPMB” – was closely associated with Fremont, who is one of the gang’s leaders.

Members of NLC responded violently to the Nov. 7, 2020 thievery, Peace said, shooting several members of the rival gang in their own territory on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9.

The three victims were wounded, but survived, the feds said.

Seven other Brooklyn gangbangers were either convicted or pleaded guilty to crimes related to the shootings, including conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and other offenses, Peace said.

  • That includes Lorenzo Bailey, 35, who was sentenced to 34 years’ imprisonment;
  • Quincy Battice, 35, who was sentenced to 32 years;
  • Oluwagbenga Agoro, 24, who was sentenced to 30 years;
