A sicko whom cops accused of fatally choking a woman outside a Times Square hotel was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday, according to law enforcement sources.
Accused brute Jaheem Warren, 33, stalked a 23-year-old woman he had targeted at random as she walked through Midtown on Oct. 29.
Warren strangled her and dumped her body on a sidewalk in front of the RIU Plaza New York Times Square Hotel on West 46th Street, where she was found by hotel staff.
The victim, local resident Leslie Toerres, was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she died on Nov. 4, sources said.
The vicious attack was captured on surveillance camera.
Warren was arrested in Prospect Park in Passaic County by the United States Marshals Service and charged with two counts of murder.
The victim was taken off life support, sources said.
Warren has an extensive convicted criminal history in New Jersey, records show.
The suspect served more than four years in prison after he was convicted in 2019 of drug dealing and money laundering, jail records show.
He was released in June 2023, but back behind bars in November of that year and again charged with drug dealing. He was released on March 6.
When asked by reporters outside Midtown North precinct if he assaulted the woman, Warren, in handcuffs, said “No” before he was placed in the back of a cruiser.
In addition to the two murder charges, he was hit with two counts of assault and two counts of strangulation, sources said.
