Two men were killed and eight others hurt as 2025 kicked off with several slashings and stabbings, and two shootings across the Big Apple, cops said.

In the first homicide of the year, a 50-year-old man was found slashed in the neck around 4:20 a.m. at the corner of West 137th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, authorities said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 39-year-old man, described as a person of interest, was taken into custody for questioning, authorities said.

The motive for the attack is under investigation.

The second slaying came about an hour later when Mario Fowler, 46, was shot dead and a 23-year-old man hurt in front of an apartment building on East 170th Street near Clay Avenue in the Claremont Village section of the Bronx, cops said.

Fowler, who was blasted in both legs, managed to run into his own building down the block, where someone called 911, authorities said.

A 51-year-old man was knifed in the stomach during a clash around 1 a.m. at 38th Street and 8th Avenue, cops said.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.

The younger victim was found around the corner with a graze wound to his chin, police said.

The two men were struck when a shooter walked up to a group standing outside the building and opened fire.

It’s unclear whether either man was the intended target.

No arrests have been made in connection to the fatal shooting.

In another burst of violence, three men, ages 26, 27, and 30 were slashed on the head on Grand Street near Roebling Street in Williamsburg around 4:50 a.m., cops said.

They were taken to Woodhull Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.

The motive for those slashings is unclear.

An hour after the iconic ball drop in Times Square, a 51-year-old man was knifed in the stomach during a clash around 1 a.m. at 38th Street and 8th Avenue, cops said.

He was taken to Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition.

Further north, two men were stabbed – one in the stomach and one in the hand, as they squared off around 2 a.m. at West 49th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said.

The violence continued in the daylight hours, when a 40-year-old man was shot in the neck around 1 p.m. just outside St. James Park on Grand Concourse near East 192nd Street, cops said.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and police are still digging for the motive.
