A 15-year-old boy was killed and two other teens were shot and wounded in a pair of separate shootings in New York City that happened less than an hour apart on Tuesday, according to authorities.
The back-to-back shootings happened just 35-minutes apart in Queens and Brooklyn — with suspects in both cases still on the loose, cops said.
Officers responded to an apartment building at 80 East 93rd Street in East Flatbush around 3:33 p.m. and found a 15-year-old boy in the lobby with a gunshot wound to the head and a 16-year-old boy on the third floor who was struck in the right shoulder.
The younger victim was taken to King County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The other was listed in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.
It remains unclear whether the teens shot each other or if there are other suspects at large.
Around 2:54 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg by an unidentified person inside a residence on 122nd Avenue in Jamaica, police said.
He was hospitalized at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in either shooting and the investigations are ongoing.
