A pair of helmet-wearing menaces were charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a Queens cellphone store worker and snatching his $22,000 Rolex during a stickup last fall, police said.
Elier Sanchez, 23, and Danilxon Alvarez, 34 — both believed to be migrants hailing from Venezuela — were nabbed separately over the past three weeks in connection to the violent November caper targeting a 40-year-old man working at an Astoria cellphone store, cops and sources said Wednesday night.
Sanchez was separately nabbed for shoplifting on Jan. 3 and then connected to the stick-up on Wednesday, while he was still in custody, police said.
Alvarez was busted by US Marshals in New Jersey after he barricaded himself in a building on Jan. 29, authorities said.
The robbers got tangled in a physical fight with the worker just before 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the Top in Town Wireless store on Steinway Street near 34th Avenue in Astoria, according to the NYPD.
During the dust-up, one of the thieves fired multiple rounds at the victim, hitting him in both legs and his torso, cops said.
They then snatched the victim’s jaw-droppingly pricey watch before fleeing the scene on a scooter, officials said.
The victim was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said.
Footage released of the suspects the day after the attack shows one of the men wearing a gray helmet with a black jacket and blue jeans.
The other was wearing a black helmet and a red mask with a blue hooded sweatshirt and red and black sneakers.
Both men were also charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
They each have pleaded not guilty and were ordered held without bail during their arraignments, records show.
