At least seven New Yorkers were targeted in a string of vicious heists — including a 14-year-old boy who got his tooth knocked out by the brazen robbers, police said.
The depraved duo appears to have launched their weeklong spree on Feb. 10, when they pummeled the teen boy, punching him in the face multiple times, before running off with his Moose Knuckles jacket at around 8:40 p.m. on Staten Island, cops said.
The boy was left with a broken tooth in the attack, and taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
That mugging, which took place on Merivale Lane and Bay Street in Staten Island’s Clifton neighborhood, was the most violent — but not the only one to victimize city youngsters, according to police.
Two teen girls, 16 and 18, were also robbed of their headphones in Lower Manhattan, which is where the rest of the crimes in the spree unfolded, cops said.
The older girl was targeted around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11 on Warren Street near Church Street in Tribeca, and the younger victim near the southern tip of the borough at Peter Minuit Place and State Street around 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
The pair also stole headphones from a 29-year-old man on John Street near Gold Street; two 30-year-old women in separate incidents at Warren and Church Streets, and Murray Street near West Broadway; and a 31-year-old woman at Nassau and Ann Streets, police said.
Other than the teen beaten on Staten Island, no one was hurt during the string of robberies, cops said.
The NYPD on Thursday released photos of both suspects, one inside a subway station and the other out on the street.
