A Harlem paraprofessional – who once aspired to become an elementary school teacher – was charged with sexually abusing middle school students for two twisted years, according to prosecutors.
Saneel Boodram, a media specialist at P.S. 076 A. Philip Randolph, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court Thursday on first-and-second degree sexual abuse and child endangerment charges after three students reported the depraved conduct on school grounds.
The alleged sicko, who was busted Wednesday, is accused of touching a 12-year-old’s breast, making inappropriate comments and sending shirtless photos of himself to multiple students, according to court documents.

The 47-year-old was reassigned to another location after the allegations came to light in 2024, his lawyer, Virginia LoPreto, said in court.
The city’s Department of Education did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
“For the past two years the defendant has used his position at the middle school to sexually abuse and sexually harass multiple students,” Manhattan assistant district attorney Rayla Aberman said in court.
“All the students felt uncomfortable. Two students finally gathered the strength to come forward.”
The first known incident occurred in October 2023 when Boodram placed his hands on the chest and collarbone of a female student, according to court documents.
Months later, on June 22, 2024, he sent the semi-naked snapshot to several students and invited them to a pool party, prosecutors said.
The accused creep then told a 13-year-old girl that he liked her outfit before putting his hands on the students shoulders and sliding them down to her lower back and hips on Oct. 11, 2024, court docs show.
Boodram has been employed with the city’s Department of Education for 25 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The alleged perv was once awarded for his “outstanding service and dedication,” stating that he provides each child he works with the strength, encouragement and smile they need to get through the day, according to his United Federation of Teachers profile.
“Teachers he has assisted say Saneel has a ‘unique ability to listen to children,’” according to the profile, which states Boodram earned a degree in filmmaking from the New York University of Technology.
“His ambitions include becoming an elementary school teacher.”
Bail was set at $10,000 – $40,000 lower than what prosecutors requested — after his lawyer argued he had no criminal history.
Orders of protection were also issued for the three young students as the investigation remains ongoing.
Boodram is due back in court on March 4.
