An FBI analyst was arrested after investigators discovered multiple videos depicting child sexual assault in his possession, according to Texas police.
Brian Vincent Rausch, an employee with the FBI office in Houston, is facing seven counts of possession of child pornography after police raided Rausch’s home in Cypress on Tuesday and found the sick videos, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office.
Neighbors were shocked to see the large police raid on the unassuming family man.
“They brought the wife out first and left her in the driveway with some of the agents, and then brought the two children out afterward,” neighbor Corey Guerrero told Click2Houston.
“We could not imagine for the life of us what was going on,” said Guerrero, a realtor who sold Rausch his home.
“We knew the husband worked for the FBI, and his car wasn’t there, so we couldn’t imagine what had happened. They’ve lived there for 11 years and [are] just a nice family.”
Rausch was charged in Texas with five counts of possession of child porn — three of which are first-degree felonies, the other two second-degree ones. He is also facing two federal child pornography charges.
Rausch was booked into the Harris County Jail.
The FBI, Harris County District Attorney’s Office, the Houston Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Department of Homeland Security were involved in the investigation.
