An Indiana man has been accused of repeatedly raping a 13-year-old girl — after breaking into her room with a credit card and duct-taping her mouth, according to reports.
Scott Allen Eacret, 32, was arrested in Alexandria after the girl reported the alleged abuse from late last year to social workers at her school, according to FOX 59.
He is accused of repeatedly abusing the schoolgirl between October and December 2022 while threatening her to stay silent — even sending her a photo of a large wooden knife with her name carved into it, according to court documents also obtained by the Herald Bulletin.
Eacret first used a credit card to unlock the girl’s bedroom door — before pushing her onto her bed and putting duct tape on her mouth, the documents claim.
After the sexual assaults, Eacret only removed the tape after warning the girl to “remember how crazy my family is,” according to the affidavits.
The schoolgirl later told investigators that her mouth was covered in duct tape during at least two of the attacks, the documents show.
Investigators later found images on her phone sent by Eacret, including one of him partially nude in boxers along with winking emojis, the documents said.
They also found the image of the knife with her name carved into it, which was taken to be a threat, the documents stated.
It was not immediately clear how Eacret knew the girl.
He was arrested on Oct. 26 on three felony charges for child molesting, child solicitation and two counts of intimidation. He is being held in Madison County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
It is unclear if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.
