A 32-year-old Bronx man was stabbed to death in a late Sunday clash with his girlfriend, law enforcement sources said.
Michael Bookhart was knifed in the chest when an argument with his girlfriend took a violent turn around 10:40 p.m. inside an apartment building on East 138th Street near Brown Place in Mott Haven, police and sources said.
Cops responded to a 911 call about the attack and rushed Bookhart to Lincoln Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities said. He lived a few blocks from the scene of the murder, cops said,

Bookhart’s 23-year-old girlfriend – who has no prior arrests – was taken into custody for questioning, according to law enforcement sources.
She had not been charged by late Monday afternoon.
The circumstances leading up to the dispute-turned-deadly were not immediately known.
