A man was punched in the face in an early Thursday attack at the Times Square subway station, cops said.
The 55-year-old victim was waiting on the northbound No. 1 train platform within the buzzing tourist hub around 6:15 a.m. when two men approached and at least one socked him in the face, police said.
He suffered a cut on his eye, cops said. It’s unclear whether he received medical treatment.
The suspects ran off after the attack.

The motive for the assault is under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
