A 46-year-old man was stabbed to death in his neighbor’s Upper West Side apartment Friday morning, police and sources said.
The victim, Alfred Soto, was invited to a unit on the sixth floor of the Tower West Apartments on West 65th Street and Columbus Avenue at around 10:20 a.m. — and a fight apparently broke out over his dog, according to law-enforcement sources.
One of the handful of men inside the apartment then knifed Soto twice in the stomach and chest, cops and sources said.

The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Sources said he lived in a unit on the 11th floor of the income-based apartment tower.
Sources said the four or five men that had been at the crime scene drove off in a U-Haul, heading west on 96th Street.
No suspects were publicly identified.
