A 64-year-old man was randomly shoved onto Manhattan subway tracks last week by a deranged attacker who yelled, “throw yourself onto the tracks,” police said Thursday.
The victim was walking on the A train 175 Street station southbound platform in Washington Heights when the stranger pushed him on the roadbed around 12:50 a.m. on Sept. 18, according to cops.
A good Samaritan helped the injured man back to the platform as the male suspect fled, the NYPD said.
Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he was diagnosed with three fractured ribs and a dislocated shoulder, cops said.
Police released surveillance footage of the alleged attacker holding a Target bag and orange bucket, in the hopes of catching him.
