The Issue: Taxpayer dollars to feed children being pocketed by Somali business owners in Minnesota.

The mere depth of the fraud in Minnesota’s Somali community should enrage Minnesotans and all natural-born Americans (“Dems had ‘taste of fraud pie,’ ” Dec. 5).

Those who perpetrated the fraud seem to have decided they’re entitled to bilk the government. And — shocker — they are all Democrats. Don’t you dare say anything, or they will brand you as a racist.

That kind of stuff may have worked before Trump’s administration took over, and Dems can continue to call the president any names they want, but it won’t stop him from going after fraudsters and fakes.

Dear Mr. President: Please start with Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and keep going.

Betsy Flor

Putnam Valley

Gov. Tim Walz’s shaming quote, “To demonize an entire community on the actions of a few,” shows his mastery of understatement: 78 alleged Somali fraudsters are quite the “few.”

One would think a former first sergeant would know how to conduct a roll call. Then we might have known whose futures were being fed. It certainly wasn’t the innocent children of Minnesota.

James Evans

Worcester, Mass.

The Post should be commended for its prominent coverage of the mass levels of fraud that have plagued Minnesota.

Unlike the “Big Three” nightly newscasts that had little coverage on this matter, The Post ran the story, despite possibly offending the Somali community.

David Tulanian

Henderson, Nev.

Ilhan Omar has yet to say thanks to the most generous country — the United States — for her influential standing in politics.

Instead of condemning the pillaging of Minnesota funds, her default position is to play the race and Trump cards.

A true leader would encourage her Somali constituents to obey the law as they assimilate.

The millions of dollars raked in by Omar’s Somali friends in the fraudulent “Feeding our Future” scheme merits a full investigation, regardless of how loud and often the “racism” card is played.

If Omar and Walz are involved, they must be held accountable.

Where was Walz when this massive theft was happening in his state?

He should have been suspicious of Ilhan Omar, who’s been linked to corruption claims and other fraudulent activities.

She’s also said how much she hates America. No one’s stopping her from returning to Somalia.

The Issue: Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s responsibility to keep New York City crime rates low.

Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani won’t have to resort to defunding the police, since there won’t be a police department after he takes office (“Don’t cop out on crime, Zo,” Dec. 3).

No person in their right mind will join the force, and the ones already there will probably quit.

Wait until the voters who put you in office realize what they’ve done, Zohran. Oh wait, they won’t blame you. They’ll find a way to blame President Trump.

Marion Friedman

The Bronx

The odds of crime staying down are low considering Mamdani’s stances against cops, ICE agents and any other law-enforcement agencies.

Crime will not only increase, but cops will have their hands full with leftist demonstrators trying to protect illegals.

I hate to paint such a disturbing picture, but this is who our city voted into office. The price will be a heavy burden.
