Four people were shot to death in a Montana bar early Friday and authorities have launched a manhunt for the still-at-large gunman.
Bullets started flying at the Owl Bar in Anaconda at 10:30 a.m. and a neighbor of the watering hole, 45-year-old Michael Brown, is suspected of carrying out the attack, authorities said.
Brown was last seen driving away from the bar in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and he is believed to still be armed, according to the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation.
Four people at the bar were declared dead from gunshot wounds at the scene with no motive yet known.
SWAT teams descended upon Brown’s home in the rural town but did not locate the suspect, NBC Montana reported.
Local business owners in Anaconda were rattled by the shooting.
“We are Montana, so guns are not new to us. For our town to be locked down, everybody’s pretty rattled,” cafe owner Barbie Nelson told the Associated Press.
“It’s a small town, so we all probably know someone who was there,” she added regarding the shooting.
