A crazed carjacker was caught on camera running naked down an Iowa street then jumping into a sedan — before hitting the gas and slamming into a tree, according to cops who arrested him.
Tyler Jonsson is allegedly shown in wild footage sprinting in his birthday suit through Des Moines then diving into the passenger seat of a parked car, stunning its driver at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to kcci.com
The bare-bottomed bandit then climbs behind the wheel as the driver tries to fight back by throwing a punch, according to the jaw-dropping footage.
Jonsson then speeds off in reverse with the vehicle’s door open — knocking the victim over and briefly dragging him, Des Moines Police told the station.
But the nude nutjob didn’t make it far before plowing into a tree near a riverside park — and cops soon tossed his buns in jail.
The car’s driver suffered minor injuries and is expected to recover, according to police.
Jonsson was charged with second-degree theft and driving while barred.
Jonsson’s attorney filed a motion for him to undergo a competency evaluation, saying he may not be able to understand the charges against him, the station reported.
He’s due in court Aug. 19.
