An out-of-control driver smashed into six cars and injured two people in the South Bronx on Friday night, according to police.
A man behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer was traveling on Melrose Avenue at about 8:15 p.m. when he crashed into a car on 159th Street that then careened into two other parked cars, cops said.
The motorist then continued driving and struck another car between 160th and 161st Streets, which then also hurtled into two other vehicles, according to police.
Two people were injured and taken to a local hospital. Their injuries were not critical.
The driver was taken into custody.
It was not immediately clear if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
