A 57-year-old woman was killed when she was shot in the face inside a lower Manhattan condo building Monday night.
The woman was found dead inside the eighth-floor hallway of the Two Bridges building located at 44 Market St. just after 11 p.m., police said.
Two suspects fled the building following the fatal shooting, according to cops.
The pair were still at large as of early Tuesday.
The victim’s identity was withheld by the NYPD as authorities worked to notify family members.
The 12-story building where she was killed has 16 condo units featuring balconies and views of the Manhattan Bridge.
The building also houses a preschool and commercial space on the ground level.
A two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with three balconies currently for sale is asking for $1.38 million, according to online listings.
The investigation is ongoing.
