Cops are hunting for a man they say dragged a woman into a Queens alleyway and sexually assaulted her at knifepoint before making off with her necklace and headphones.
The unidentified 45-year-old victim was walking around Northern Boulevard and 110th Street in North Corona at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when a stranger approached her, pulled a knife and dragged her into a nearby alley, the NYPD said.
He took her jewelry and headphones, then sexually assaulted her, cops said.
Then he ran off, headed off south on 109th Street.
Police described him as about 5-foot, 6-inches tall with a medium complexion and build.
He wore a light green hoodie, black jogging pants with a reflective strip on the side and gray sneakers, cops added.
Authorities brought the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was in stable condition.
The NYPD has asked anyone with info to call the department’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
