A knife-wielding attacker randomly stabbed a 39-year-old man in the hand inside the Times Square subway station early Monday, cops said.
The victim was standing on the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 train platform at the Midtown hub around 2:30 a.m. when 32-year-old David Cuero stabbed him in the right hand with what is believed to be a pocket knife in the unprovoked attack, police said.
The victim reported the attack to police inside the station, who quickly cuffed Cuero, authorities said.

Cuero – whose listed address is a men’s intake shelter in Kips Bay – was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
A Post photo shows him standing on the rainy sidewalk with a bandage over his hand.

The incident comes days after another stabbing attack in the Crossroads of the World, this one out on the street.
A stranger stabbed a man in the cheek with a screwdriver after the attacker tried to bum a cigarette from him on West 43rd Street near Seventh Avenue around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, cops and sources said.
The victim, a Brooklyn resident, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said.
