For most of the earlier period of time, shown on the left-hand side of the chart, the rolling count of facilities used is between 300 and 400. For much of the start of the first Trump administration, it is above 350. During this period, it sometimes reses above 400, which it did not in previous years. The number of facilities dips in early 2020 and again in early 2021. From 2021 to 2022, the number of facilities never rises above 350.
