A teen miscreant pummeled a 67-year-old man who confronted him for hanging out in front of an Upper East Side building, cops and sources said.
The boy, believed to be between 15 and 17 years old, was loitering outside a building at East 65th Street and York Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Sept. 30 when the victim apparently gave him a hard time, authorities and sources said.
The teen then punched the senior in the face and kicked him in the left side of his back, police said.
EMS brought the man to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The still-at-large teen brute, pictured in a surveillance image released by the NYPD early Thursday, is described as having a medium complexion, standing about 5-foot-7 and weighing 130 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a red and white logo on the front and red logos on the right and left arms, black pants, black and white sneakers, a black backpack and a black mask.
Anyone with information on the broad-daylight assault is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
