A Las Vegas sex worker beat an elderly man with limited mobility and robbed him of thousands of dollars in his hotel room, according to police.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a reported robbery at Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino last Friday. Inside of a guest room, they found an elderly man beaten and bloodied on the floor, KLAS reported.
The elderly victim, who uses a mobility scooter to get around, told officers “he had brought a ‘hooker’ to his room… and she beat him and robbed him,” police said.
The assailant, later identified as 26-year-old Napria Wilson, had taken his wallet, he told cops at the hospital.
The man said he had met Wilson on the casino floor and invited her to his room.
“Once in the room, the [man] gave Wilson $500 cash for her services,” police said. “Wilson took the money and stayed in the room. After a couple of minutes, Wilson again asked [the man] for the money and [the man] stated, ‘I already gave it to you.’ Wilson began to get argumentative with [the man] and told him to give her the money again.”
The altercation escalated to a vicious beatdown that left the man with a broken face and multiple facial fractures, according to a police.
After the attack, video footage reviewed by police showed Wilson leaving the man’s hotel room, getting into an elevator and then leaving in a taxi.
Later, the victim told police he was missing about $6,000.
Police contacted the taxi company who provided additional footage of Wilson in the cab, according to KLAS.
She “almost immediately vomits as she enters the cab,” police said of the video. “Wilson apologizes to the driver and tells him she will pay him extra to get her ‘out of here’ and appears to pass him a $100 dollar bill from her purse.”
Wilson seemed “panicked” throughout the ride, cops noted. At the end of the trip Wilson got out and told the driver “‘You never came here, this didn’t happen,’ and gives the driver what looks like an additional $200,” police said.
She was arrested outside her Henderson apartment on Wednesday after MGM Resorts security helped match a photo of Wilson with other surveillance footage, police said.
She is charged with attempted murder, residential burglary and robbery, records said. Her bail was set at $75,000 and she remained behind bars at Clark County jail as of Friday, KLAS reported.
Wilson was charged with soliciting or engaging in prostitution just weeks earlier on Oct 5, according to records reviewed by the outlet.
In 2021, Wilson was charged with attempted murder and domestic battery. She later pleaded no contest to domestic battery charges where she avoided jail time.
