Shocking video shows the moment three gunmen ambushed a vehicle in Queens Tuesday night, killing a mother who was sitting in the front passenger seat and wounding the driver.
Clarisa Burgos, 28, was in a black Honda sedan that was pulled over near 127th Street and Liberty Avenue in Richmond Hill when she and the 39-year-old male driver came under fire just before midnight.
Burgos was shot once in the head and died on the spot, police said.
“We’ve raised her in a good way, with love,” her aunt told The Post before closing the door Wednesday.
“God knows what has happened to her.”
Burgos leaves behind a 4-year-old son, according to Gothamist.
Security footage obtained by The Post shows two men in dark clothing slowly crossing the street and approaching the vehicle as a third man walks right by the car on the sidewalk.
Suddenly, one of the men draws a gun and fires several shots into the driver’s window as another fires from behind him, the video shows.
The wounded driver tries to hit the gas and flee as the suspect who had been walking on the sidewalk runs in front of the car and unloads another few rounds through the windshield and driver’s window, according to the clip.
The three gunmen run off as the victim’s car stalls in the middle of the street for a few seconds before driving away, the footage shows.
The driver pulled up to the NYPD’s 103rd Precinct stationhouse — about 2.5 miles from the scene of the shooting — shortly before midnight and told police that he and Burgos had been shot.
The driver was shot a half-dozen times in the torso and was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. Burgos was declared dead on site, cops said.
No arrests have been made as of Wednesday evening, and no motive was given for the shooting.
Burgos’ relationship to the driver was not immediately clear.
