The Issue: A cab driver accused of sexually assaulting two riders in 2024 is still on the road.

How pathetic is incompetent Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, letting this cabbie go free after he allegedly assaulted two passengers (“Cabbie ‘attack’ & still driving,” Nov. 16)?

Did voters not learn after not voting for Lee Zeldin as governor in 2022?

John C. Migliaccio

LaGrangeville

Another lowlife walks, and it’s thanks to soft-on-crime Bragg. Had this happened to a member of his family, you can rest assured the cabbie wouldn’t have walked free. Of course this poor girl fled the city.

What happens if he rapes someone next time? Bragg is worthless.

Robert Caprio

Nutley, NJ

I am so sorry that an innocent woman like Maile Bartow was allegedly assaulted by cab driver Mohammed Bellebia and had to move to Nashville.

Thanks to idiotic New Yorkers, Bragg was re-elected this year to continue his “soft on crime” philosophy.

He’ll keep doing this until he’s voted out, or (may it not happen) someone in his family is a victim of a heinous crime.

Veronica Kwiecinski

Maspeth

I see that Maile Bartow fled the city for Nashville after being allegedly sexually accosted by a cabbie last year. Perhaps that was not the right decision.

As per 2024 FBI data, New York City is one of the safest large cities in the United States, while Nashville was ranked as one of 15 US cities with the highest violent crime rate. Maybe Ms. Bartow will be returning to the Big Apple soon?

Dennis Middlebrooks

Brooklyn

Bragg needs to be jailed with this evil and dangerous cabbie. He’s a total failure when it comes to protecting New York’s legal citizens and visitors.

Thomas Birnbaum

Manhattan

The Issue: Key new details about would-be assassin Thomas Crook’s online history left out by the FBI.

I don’t usually buy into conspiracy theories, but there are so many questions about the failure to protect President Trump it’s hard not to (“Sniper’s web footprint left violent clues,” Nov. 19).

Burglar posed as college student to spend 3 nights in dorm stealing from students: police

It’s unbelievable that Thomas Crooks was not on the FBI’s radar, and even if there was no known threat in Pennsylvania, the Secret Service dropped the ball in failing to secure the roof where Crooks had a clear shot.

There’s been no adequate explanation for these myriad failures. The American people are entitled to answers.

Robert Spitalnick

Great Neck

The FBI should have done a deeper investigation into Thomas Crooks before he tried to shoot Trump last July.

His online activity should have raised some red flags, but apparently did not.

This is a perfect example of a failure on the part of the FBI. If he was followed more closely, then this shooting wouldn’t have happened.

Rob Johann

Woodhaven

Hollywood would have a tough time topping the story of the coverup after this attempted assassination.

Besides “missing” the perp’s online presence, our justice system let his body be destroyed.
