An 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed on the street in Manhattan’s Flatiron District on Friday night, police said.
The incident unfolded around 10:40 p.m. on the corner of East 26th Street and Park Avenue South, according to the NYPD.
The teenager was stabbed multiple times before his attacker fled on foot.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police do not yet know what kind of weapon the assailant used.
One person of interest has been taken into custody, but they have not been charged, said police.
