A knife-wielding creep slashed a straphanger during a fight at a Brooklyn subway station — and then randomly attacked another victim just 15 minutes later at a different stop, police said Wednesday.
The male assailant first slashed a 38-year-old woman in the mezzanine area of the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
The two were having an argument, which turned violent when the suspect pulled out a knife and cut the woman’s lower right leg, cops said, noting it was unclear what the dispute was about.
The attacker ran off — and then re-emerged around 12:05 a.m. Wednesday inside the G train station at Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene, cops said.
There, he came up to a 67-year-old man from behind on a staircase and suddenly slashed him without warning on the legs and left arm, authorities said.
The slasher ran off a second time after the apparently unprovoked attack.
The victims were each taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD confirmed that the same person is sought in connection to both incidents.
No description had been released of the suspect, who was still on the loose Wednesday.
